Profile

A tendency to engage real situations and the site of psychological responses of particular religious, cultural and social trends sustains the centre of a project to project oriented practise often concentrating on notions of momentary encounters among spaces, objects and materials.

Underpinning what essentially is an installation based to sculpture/painting or Digital media practice is the recognition that meaning is not contained within an object’s physical bounds, but rather grows out of the relationship between material and conceptual elements and the individual perspective from which they are perceived.

Since graduating from the Masters program in Art & Design at Loughborough University in 2006, I have sustained and developed a studio practice and national and international exhibition profile; working between Greece, England and Germany on commissions and curatorial projects.
Running parallel to this activity I have maintained regular teaching commitments, and for the last three years I have been YPS Arts Coordinator for the annual International Olympic Academy in Athens, Greece; a two week international program that explores, celebrates the Olympic ideals (sport/cultural/theoretical).
